The Canadian Pacific's famous Morant's Curve in the Canadian Rockies as seen on a winter's morning. Located just east of Lake Louise in Banff National Park, this spot is popular with train spotters who come to see the CPR freight trains or the occasional passenger train on the S-curve with the Bow River and Mount Temple and other mountains in the distance. I have come here a few times first thing in the morning, while still dark outside to set-up for the sunrise and hopefully catch a train travelling eastbound. But with no luck with regard to the trains.
